This is a very stylish hotel with a great central location. Our room had 20-ft ceilings. Reasonable rates, free breakfast tea and port wine. Exceptional Lisbon restaurant: 100 Maneiros (meaning either 100 ways or unmannered according to the server). This is a 10-course €35 menu that compares favorably to the French Laundry in CA. Delicious, inventive and very stylishly presented. Staff are incredibly friendly and the wine list is both extensive and reasonably priced. Don't miss it.

Loved this hotel! Very nice staff in reception. Peaceful, calm environment in which to enjoy the free glass of port on arrival. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate, and the room was a good size, with a nice bathroom and a very comfy bed! Lisbon is one of my favourite cities. We ate dinner at an excellent restaurant called 100 Maneiras (www.restaurante100maneiras.com). No menu, but every day the chef creates 10 courses from whatever is fresh in the market. It was one of the best meals I have eaten, with charming, friendly waitresses. We were recommended a white wine by the head waiter – it was one of the best we had all week in Portugal. When we left, it felt like we were leaving a friend's dinner party. Get there quick before he earns a Michelin star. At the moment you get all this for around €100. One more thing. For a crazy but fun way to see Lisbon, book a three-wheeler tour with GoCars (www.golisbon.com/tours/gocars/). It's within walking distance from hotel. We haven't laughed so much for years!

The complimentary upgrade to a great suite was unexpected and added to a lovely weekend. (They need to repair the air con though!) A great location just next to the Duomo. We had an amazing meal at Nobu in the Armani Hotel.

The Sushi at Bica do Sapato is excellent.
