Mid May The Daphne du Maurier Literary Festival, with a week of events including talks, theatre, exhibitions, concerts and guided walks. Mid August Fowey Royal Regatta week sees a hive of activity, not all on the water; aside from the sailing races, there are Red Arrow displays, a mid-week float procession through the town streets, live music, fireworks and raft races, which all add to the carnival atmosphere.
