I like the hotel, the rooms are a good size and overall pretty good for the price and location. The real downside consistently is the noise in the lane outside and you need the supplied earplugs – try to get the highest floor you can.

Take advantage of your stay at Establishment and get along to all the bars and restaurants at Establishment and 100 metres away at The Ivy Complex (All Merivale / Hemmes group) are over 7 different restaurants and bars.
Charge to your room, forget the cash and credit cards, there is VIP entry everywhere (free champagne Veuve at Ivy and Moët at Establishment. 2 glasses, per guest, per room. yummm.)

Do get up to Ivy Pool Club/Bar The Den etc when at Establishment complex. Avoid the crush at the bar downstairs at Establishment and get up to Hemisphere on 4th floor.

If you can afford it definitely try Est. (3 hats) brilliant.

I totally recommend Sushi-e at the Establishment Hotel. The food was amazing – the sushi so fresh and tasty and the harumaki from the kitchen just brilliant. A great sushi bar set-up.

This five-star boutique hotel is in the perfect area of Sydney's CBD. We loved our bathroom and products. We also ate in the top-floor restaurant which, although very pricey, is worthy of a special occasion meal. The only gripe is that the walls in our room seemed thin as we could hear our neighbours and their music quite easily.
