The Guestbook

We loved Escape. The individual room designs are spectacular and the breakfast feast is a real treat. Located close enough to the town centre, but just far enough away to get some much needed peace and quiet, this is a place we would definitely recommend. Particularly special for us, because we got engaged here when we stayed; the perfect excuse to come back and try out one of the other very cool rooms. Llandudno offers plenty of activity for a short break, and the fish and chip shop a short walk away do the best fish and chips in Llandudno, proven by the fact that it is always busy.

We had a very warm welcome from Gina at Escape. She recommended Osbornes for an evening meal. The restaurant is just a five-minute walk and was delightful, with a good menu of British dishes. We visited Bodnant Gardens which looked super with its autumn colours and Conway Castle. Both in easy reach and worth a visit.

A fantastic B&B- attentive staff and a homely feel. Brilliant breakfasts that certainly set you up for the day! Would highly recommend the Seahorse restaurant which is only a short walk away. Would also recommend Tree Tops Adventure for a fun adventure playground in the trees!

On our last stay at Escape we discovered the recently re-opened Mostyn Art Gallery in the town centre. What a fantastic way to while a way a few hours! The gallery itself is a fusion of traditional and modern architecture housing an interesting collection of modern art, sculpture and installation pieces. The first floor cafe, is a great place to sit, have a cup of tea and look out towards the sea.

Fantastic place to stay! The house is beautiful and we were made to feel very welcome, so much so, that we felt guilty when we missed saying goodbye!
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Escape to any of our friends.....thank you.

A lovely B&B – great service makes you feel right at home, and it's very well laid out with fabulous furnishings. Breakfast was great and very filling (had to go out to walk it off after!) We highly recommend it to all.

Had a fantastic pointer from the B&B for the Seahorse (+44 (0)1492 875315). It's a fish resturant just down the hill with a wonderful "just caught" menu and is in a wine basement type setting. Great food, great service and all at a very good price.

The Seahorse, which is just down the road from Escape B&B on Church Walks, is well worth a visit. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The fish was extremely fresh (apparently because the owner is regularly found to be out on his fishing boat tracking down the dish of the day). The non-fish dishes were also excellent, and the wine list was top-notch. Thoroughly enjoyable! On top of all this, we were pleasantly surprised when the bill came...

We spent our escape in Llandudno and had a great meal at Osbourne House on the parade. It was a fantastic setting, with well cooked food.

The hotel was utterly fantastic and we discovered the most amazing restaurant set in an old inn – Ty Gwyn Restaurant. It serves mouthwateringly good food and service was excellent.

Whilst staying at Escape in Llandudno in April I ventured out for an evening meal. As a 'lonely' female it is often difficult to find somewhere enjoyable and comfortable to be in without feeling like 'Billy No-mates'. However all is not lost in Llandudno as a trip to Osborne's proved for me. It is a big Victorian-built house, now a hotel, on the promenade, which is really quite lovely – both the hotel and the Prom. There is a restaurant and lounge, but I opted to sit in the bar area at a long, high marble table designed to seat about 10–12 people. There was another couple on the other end and as I was very visible to the excellent staff, the waitress in particular, I felt quite at home and 'looked after'. The surroundings are lovely and the food was good – not 'wow quality' but perfectly acceptable for a quick evening meal when away on business. Nice touches like some warm ciabatta and sun-dried tomato oil for dipping, whilst waiting. Service was attentive and quick and just what was needed. Definitely to be recommended.
