Getting there
- Planes Newark is a 20-minute drive from the hotel. JFK and La Guardia are close by, too – both can be reached in under an hour. Virgin Atlantic has regular flights to all three airports (www.virginatlantic.com).
- Trains New York Penn Station is a six-minute drive down Park Avenue. Grand Central is a little further in the same direction. From here, you'll be able to pick up Amtrak (www.amtrak.com) services to other destinations all over the USA. Penn Station will get you to the Hamptons, too, on the Long Island Rail Road (www.lirr.org).
- Automobiles Head for SoHo using the Queens Midtown Expressway and the I-495.
