Eating and drinkingThe chalet has a superb chef who can prepare whatever you like. Breakfast, afternoon tea and a four or five course dinner with canapés, house wine and champagne are included in the price. The chalet owners are wine connoisseurs and there’s an exceptional 2,500-bottle wine cellar with plenty of premier crus to tempt you. Chalet Kernow comes with a staff of five, including an accomplished chef who can conjure up meals to fit your requirements. He’s not available on Wednesdays, which gives you the chance to try some of the excellent restaurants in Verbier. The house wines and champagne are carefully selected and there are 2,500 bottles in the cellar.
HousekeepingYour chalet staff take care of all housekeeping.
ChildrenWelcome. The bunk room sleeps four and has a TV and PlayStation. The self-contained apartment on the ground floor is often used by a nanny and is a great place for children to play. There are plenty of toys, games and a children’s menu.
EntertainmentThe chalet has a music system that is bafflingly state-of-the-art. Essentially, you can listen to a choice of several hundred CDs from any part of the chalet.
