Guestbook

Thank you Liz and Malcolm for a lovely stay at Upcott House. We all loved it and didnt want to leave! My fiancée and I agree that it's our dream house and we hope, one day, that we can live somewhere similar!
We had a fantastic weekend at Upcott – thank you so much. It is the best holiday house we'd ever stayed at. We loved the space (five bathrooms!), the décor, the amazing views, the big comfortable beds - everything was perfect. We wanted to move in permanently! It was the ideal venue for a special birthday party. The welcome hamper, the childrens' toys and games, the DVDs and the chromatherapy bath (which my toddler especially adored!) were lovely extra touches. Also, I personally really appreciated that you used Ecover products in the house - we use these at home and I now find that normal cleaning products can set off my asthma. I often end up feeling a bit unwell in other people's houses, but not at Upcott. It was amazing to find somewhere to stay that managed to be both eco-friendly and luxurious! So thanks again - all in all, I think we'll be back!

Smith tip

There are rich pickings in the area for antiques hunters. Upcott House boasts an eclectic selection of contemporary and period furniture, fittings and fixtures, many of which were sourced locally. And if even antiques are too modern for your taste, check out 185 million years of history writ large in the rocks along the coast.
