Coast lovers are a short drive from surfing, rockpooling and sand-castle building. Or hire a bike and hit the Camel or Tarka trails. Older kids can even extreme sport it with mountain boarding, or try their hand at tank driving.

All the hardware such as high chair, cot, sterilizer and even a car seat available, with children’s toys, games and books on tap too if you want them. And if you’re worried about the stairs down, a stairgate is easy to fix.
