Planes Iberia, British Airways and EasyJet all fly into Ibiza airport, which is about five miles southwest of Ibiza Town. Direct flights take a little over two hours from the UK. (There are no direct flights from the UK during November to March.) If you’re not hiring a car, taxis from the rank outside the airport are metred and reasonable (around €10 for the trip to Ibiza Town).

Directions by road

Forget map-reading nightmares – a representative will meet you and your party at the airport and help you find your villa. But here are directions for your records… Directly on leaving the airport you will come to a strange split roundabout where you need to turn left and follow the signs to San Josep. Follow the road (PM803) all the way until you reach the village of San Josep. Pass through the village and continue on the PM803. You will pass the Citroen garage on your right, then the road makes a curve to the right. In this curve, turn left onto the dirt road. Continue on this dirt road and go right at every fork you meet. You know you’ve reached Can Rumani when you come to the beige iron entrance gate with white columns.
