Right in the heart of Verbier – one of Switzerland’s finest resorts – this chic chalet located directly below the main Médran lift station takes comfort, style and service to new heights. A dedicated staff of five is on hand to make your stay effortless; welcoming you with a Krug champagne reception and taking care of your every need in order to guarantee an unforgettable Alpine experience.

Designed to be the ultimate holiday home, every detail of Chalet Kernow has been carefully considered. The striking interior exudes an exclusive yet relaxed atmosphere where 14 family members or friends can be completely indulged. The two double and three twin rooms have Egyptian cotton bedlinen and goose down bedding and the four-bunk room with adult-sized beds looks so cosy that it’s not just suitable for children. The elegant bathrooms not only have monsoon ceiling showers but also wooden tubs to soak in.

Gather beside the imposing fireplace in the main living room after an energetic day’s skiing. The bar has an exceptional selection of whiskies and cognacs and the ever-attentive staff can rustle up your favourite cocktail. The sitting area with its roomy sofas opens onto the balcony which runs along the entire front of the building. The chalet’s pool table and state-of-the-art TV will keep you entertained if you choose to take a step back from Verbier’s renowned and varied nightlife.

The food and wine are exceptional at Chalet Kernow. Breakfast, light lunch, afternoon tea and a four-course evening meal with canapés are all included in the price. In keeping with the tailor-made service provided at the property, the professional chef will prepare delicious dinners to suit your needs. The first-rate food is complemented by the wine cellar, which has over 1,200 bottles to choose from – an unrivalled treat for connoisseurs. The house wines are excellent but you will find it hard to resist splashing out on some of the stellar grand crus or New World wonders.

Two 4x4s are on constant stand-by to take you to the slopes, and the staff will organise lift passes, ski hire and in-chalet fittings. As well as 250 miles of ski runs and some of the best and most accessible off-piste trails in the Alps, there’s a host of other activities including skidooing, parapenting and ice climbing. All you need to do is decide what you’d like to try and everything will be arranged for you. It’s an added comfort to know that Chalet Kernow boasts a splendid spa with a sauna and steam room and provides massage and beauty treatments.
