Interior

Bedrooms 

In the main house:

Bedroom one: the master bedroom is pure 'wow'. A kingsized bed, there's an ensuite bath and shower and this stylish suite opens onto a terrace.
Bedroom two: a king with an ensuite bath and shower, which also opens onto a pebbled terrace. A hot-pink chaise longue is just some of the eye candy.
Bedroom three: also a king with ensuite bath and shower.

Two separate guesthouses:

Bedroom four: this gorgeous guest annex is a little one-bedroom house on its own. Built in stacked stone it feels almost like a mini hacienda, ensconced in that pine-packed garden a stumble from the main house and pool.

Bedroom five: an Indonesian wooden guesthouse  promises a unique Robinson Crusoe experience. A lot less glossy than the other rooms, this quirky cabin has an outdoor bathroom with an incredible bamboo-tree-flanked carved tub which resembles a canoe. A unique abode for a couple who prefer  rustic and laidback over five-star luxury.

Kitchen The kitchen at this luxury Ibizan villa is fit for a professional – say the word and Can Bikini can arrange for a chef to be at your service.

Living room This high-ceilinged open-plan living and dining space is ripe for entertaining and enjoying the high life. The cooking island in the kitchen and an open fire help make this luxury villa feel especially convivial. Design touches such as flamboyant Louis VII chairs and a trunk-of-wood feature from Maison L’Elephant conjur Philippe Starck in his boutique-hotel heyday.

Dining room 

Other There's a teepee in the forest which has wooden flooring, a chandelier and loads of cushions.

Outdoor

Poolside The gradual slope into the 4mx12m infinity pool creates the effect of walking into the sea. A built-in bench with jets adds extra wow. This is surrounded by decking and lawns and lots of sunloungers for those who like to spend their holidays not just at Bikini but in them.

Gardens The walled gardens and pine forest go on for miles – you can’t see another property in any direction. Wooden walkways take you through lavender, bamboo, olive groves and lemon trees.

Parking There’s a covered parking area and an entire car park, which would scream ‘All back to mine’ if it weren’t for the stringent laws banning villa parties. The fines and penalties are extremely heavy duty.

Other The poolside thatched outdoor kitchen and cocktail counter and stools screams for guests to recreate a scene or two out of cheesy flick, 'Cocktail'.

Planes Iberia, British Airways and EasyJet all fly into Ibiza airport, which is about five miles southwest of Ibiza Town. Direct flights take a little over two hours from the UK. Ryanair flies direct from the UK out of season.

Review

This hip, minimalist finca and two quirky guesthouses in peaceful, verdant countryside makes chilling out compulsory. Slink past the white Moroccan lanterns at the entrance of these walled flower-filled grounds and the likelihood is the infinity pool and trickle of the waterfall is the only sound you’ll hear. It’s hard to tell whether the indoor or outdoor spaces of this luxury villa in the north of the island, are more compelling.

A cool infinity pool has a coastal effect thanks to a gradual slope into the water, but you’re not far from Cala Salada if you fancy some more authentic beachtime. A poolside thatched outdoor kitchen and cocktail bar and a huge day bed and hammock mean that having fun alfresco with your friends or family is mandatory. And if you want to totally unwind, there’s a decked woodland clearing perfect for massages and yoga classes. Or venture further into the forest and find the teepee. Although this isn't a tent as you know them – this is 'glamping' Can Bikini style, so expect a chandelier and loads of cushions for lounging. Our advice? Turn off your mobile phone for the duration and learn to meditate. There can’t be a holiday house in Ibiza better suited to pure relaxation.

As well as a stylish modern farmhouse with luxury bedrooms imbued in Egyptian cotton and sexy ensuites, there’s a gorgeous one-bedroomed stacked-stone cottage. Also ensconced in that pine-packed garden is an Indonesian wooden guesthouse for the barefoot-luxury Robinson Crusoe experience. Its alfresco bathroom is something else – a canoe-like bath surrounded by bamboo stalks blends nature with luxury. This is a once-in-lifetime retreat, which is sure to generate memories that will stay with you forever.
