The oriental spa is outrageously decadent, and offers a full range of beauty and wellbeing treatments. Spa suites with steam showers are available for couples. There's also yoga, Tai Chi, and a gym with personal trainers, as well as watersports.

Every Studio Suite has a black granite bath, teak flooring and fine silk drapes, as well as a tub for in-room spa treatments; the larger suites in the 40-storey residential tower are positively palatial, and have sweeping panoramic views from their private balconies.

Hotel restaurant

The show kitchen produces excellent international cuisine with a strong Thai, Chinese and Indian influence. The restaurant is lined with wine cabinets and offers a wide selection of champagnes and caviar. There is also a separate steakhouse.

Last orders

The restaurants closes at 11pm on weekdays, midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The bar closes at 2am.

The cocktail bar between the lobby and the courtyard seems unbeatable in terms of style and sophistication... until you see the 90-foot beach bar by the pool. The Chili Passion cocktail is pure perfection.
