All the rooms are lovely, with king-size beds, Loro Piana cashmere throws and bespoke Bellora bedlinen, antiques, artwork and spacious bathrooms. Room 5 is one of the largest, and also has a steam bath.

- Also
- Staff will ring you ahead of your arrival to make sure the bathroom is stocked with your preferred lotions and potions on arrival.
Food & drink
- Hotel restaurant
- Casa Tua's excellent restaurant occupies the interconnecting ground-floor rooms of the main house and serves classic Italian and Mediterranean food – chef Sergio Sigala's speciality is risotto, and there's a well-matched list of fine wines.
- Dress code
- Guests can of course wear shorts and flip-flops if they wish, but the restaurant requires a tiny bit more effort: go for casual chic.
- Top table
- Linger at a candlelit table outside in the garden; the pretty main rooms feel like a friend's home, with bookshelves and ticking-covered bench seats. Alternatively, there's a communal chef's table overlooking the kitchen, for quick plates of pasta.
- Last orders
- Restaurant is open daily for dinner, 7–12pm; and for lunch on weekdays, 12–3pm (but hotel guests are catered for round the clock).
- Hotel bar
- The Club on the second floor is a private members' bar. Sink into a soft white armchair and sip one of Casa Tua's great Bellinis. It's particularly popular on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, and often has live music.
