The Baglioni Hotel is housed in a Georgian building which, although respectable and impeccable, doesn’t allude to the over-the-top grandeur that awaits inside. Children are made welcome, too.

This child-friendly hotel has large rooms, but the Executive Junior Suites have a separate living area. Cots are complimentary; extra beds cost £50 a night. If you want to use your baby monitor in the restaurant, go for a room on the first floor.
Whizz around Kensington Gardens on the hotel's bicycles. They're included in the price, and children's helmets and baby seats are both available.
Children are welcome for all meals in the Brunello Restaurant, which serves mainly organic food. The Baglioni can provide child-friendly packed lunches, as well as heating up milk and baby food for you.
This can be arranged at £15 an hour, but needs to be booked 24 hours in advance.
Baby monitors work in the restaurant from first-floor rooms.
Cots, high chairs and child-friendly utensils are provided in the restaurant, and you can hire a pushchair for a small fee.
Each floor of the hotel has a dedicated guest butler, who'll be happy to help you by unpacking your cases and getting jam-covered clothes to the laundry; this way, when you arrive you can start enjoying yourself straight away instead of struggling with clutter. The in-room entertainment systems have a good range of downloadable child-friendly films. All rooms have mini-bars; use them to store milk and perishable baby food or favourite snacks.
