The waiters can be relied on to recommend the most delicious complement to what is always an exceptional French-bistro-style meal, and with consideration for your wallet. For lunch on the pebbled beach, head to Jack & Linda’s shack at 197 King’s Road Arches, and you’ll get the best grilled-mackerel sandwich imaginable, for less than £3.

For an entire night of entertainment, check what’s on at the Joogleberry Playhouse (01273 687171). Worth getting out of bed for
