The main plunge pool in the riad’s courtyard has beautiful blue, green and turquoise tiles that match the furniture in the lounge. It’s a lovely, relaxing spot.
Children
The riad does welcome supervised kids, though it’s far more suitable for adults. Extra beds are available for under-eights, and there’s a children’s menu in the restaurant.

In the know

Our favourite rooms
We absolutely love the contemporary-feeling Chambre Yamuna, which comes swathed in beautiful turquoise fabric. It also has a fabulous square bath with its own seat in the corner. Chambre Najma is also wonderful – it’s the largest room in the riad, and includes a hand-made cedar bed with a traditionally carved headboard.
Packing tips
Apart from suncream and some floaty tops to lounge around the property in, you don’t need to bring anything. Pretty much everything you’ll need can be found at the riad.
Also
The riad’s owners have been involved in the hotel project right from the start, and the result is very much their vision. All furnishings and decorative touches, which betray a distinct Rajasthani influence, have been personally commissioned by them.

Anything goes. You can even eat your dinner naked if you take it in the privacy of your room.
Top table
The rooftop Arabian tent is perhaps the most romantic spot.

Dinner is served till 10pm.
Room service

Hotel bar
There’s no bar as such, but the rooftop terrace, where roses, jasmine and bougainvillaea abound, is a great place to enjoy a refreshing mint tea.
