Andrew McConnell is no stranger to being reviewed but he’s recently gone over to the dark side.

The multiple hat-winning chef/owner of Cumulus Inc and Cutler & Co has been recruited as a hotel reviewer for London-based boutique travel publisher Mr & Mrs Smith. McConnell has been added to the ranks of high-profile “taste-makers” drawn from the world of food, fashion, wine and theatre (other Australian names include actress Sigrid Thornton and Vogue editor, Kirstie Clements, while Dita Von Tesse and Stella McCartney  are among its international clique).
