HIDEAWAY: Hurst House and Morrissey with Amanda Holden
Ideal for couples behaving badly
ACTOR Neil Morrissey's luxury hotel in the Welsh countryside has been named in a tourist guide as a top place to go for couples wanting a secret dirty weekend. The guide lists leading venues in Britain for naughty liaisons, and £100-a-night Hurst House hotel, owned by Morrissey - who bedded Amanda Holden while she aws still married to Les Dennis - ranks as the best in Wales.
The book, Mr and Mrs Smith, called after the pseudonym traditionally used by secret lovers, praises Morrissey's five-star converted Georgian mansion, with its open fires and six huge suites, as being perfect for forbidden passion. And the location, in the middle of the countryside at Laugharne in Carmarthenshire, is a bonus as it keeps couples far away from prying eyes.
