Holly’s quest for foreign and exotic lands started when she was young; Holly had her head buried in travel brochures and a knack for dictating the family holiday plans from the tender age of 10. After more independent jaunts around Europe and South America, the real adventure came in 2008, when Holly set forth with her Mr Smith on an epic 3mph Around the World circumnavigation of the globe without flying. On returning to London, Holly decided that the only way to survive a settled life was to keep the adventure alive by contributing eco and luxury travel tales as a freelance writer and the eco editor of Green Hotelier.
