La Robazza

Sicily, Italy

Style Mini Mandranova farmhouse

Setting Palm-studded south Sicily hills

This Sicilian sweetheart has a genial husband and wife team at its helm; unsurprisingly, there’s a homey feel throughout, with understated rooms, colour-splashed gardens, a dazzling pool and fabulous food. Owners Giuseppe and Silvia Di Vicenzo also run the Smith-approved Azienda Agricola Mandranova hotel just 400 metres away, and guests at La Robazza can plunder some of the hotel’s benefits: boat trips and BBQ dinners, the Azienda’s restaurant and the warm-blooded, heartfelt hospitality.
