Gemma has been a BBC radio broadcaster since 2008, starting as 1Xtra, Radio 1's louder sister. She has now moved on to wake up the nation every Saturday and Sunday on the Radio 1 weekend Breakfast Show. If it's not a studio she's giggling in, she's starjumping, stomping and prancing at festivals and waxing lyrical with the headlining acts for BBC3 and Channel 4. She also writes a monthly music feature in Company magazine, has fronted a couple of current affairs documentaries and lives to explore the planet whenever she can ram it in.
