This year, Mr & Mrs Smith are truly going global – our spies are currently scouting hot new destinations around the world for the best boutique hotels. Over the next few months, look out for star-quality stays everywhere from Mexico to the Maldives, including hotels in Belize, Brazil, Guatemala, Rajasthan, Canada, Japan, and more. Whether you’re looking for a five-star celebrity haunt or a rustic hut on a deserted beach, chances are we’ll be finding one for you – watch this space. CARBON OFFSETTING
Leading by example
We now offset all of our research trips through Climate Care: www.climatecare.org, a company that doesn't just plant trees, but has a bulging portfolio of projects around the world, including bio-energy, wind-energy and rainforest-restoration schemes. Also, anyone who books through Mr & Mrs Smith is given the option at the booking stage on our website to calculate their airmiles via Climate Care's carbon calculator. It's easy to use: simply choose your flight's departure and arrival information and the calculator displays your CO2 emissions and the amount of cash you should contribute. While we appreciate this is by no means a solution, we are keen to acknowledge the effects of travel, and do what we can to minimise our own air travel.
