PHP MySQL DEVELOPER
Want to work for a leading travel brand? Mr & Mrs Smith are looking for an Intermediate-level PHP developer. We require an enthusiastic, creative and passionate individual who enjoys development and wants to work on a Webby Award-winning site in the boutique travel industry. The ideal candidate must be capable of translating requirements from non-technical members of staff and senior-level management into functional areas of the site and CMS.
What we need from you:
• Experience and knowledge of Object Oriented PHP 5 programming
• Strong working knowledge of CSS and XHTML, and familiarity with email-template development and delivery
• Good understanding of XML and JavaScript
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL database development and administration
• Good grasp of statistical reporting tools such as Google Analytics and HBX
• Familiarity with SEO site development and Accessibility Standards
• Excellent communication skills
Desirable extras that will set you apart from other applicants:
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Flash Timeline, Video Streaming and Actionscripting
• Familiarity with email delivery systems such as Emailvision
• Knowledge of Apache
• A proven passion for boutique hotels and travel
• A sense of humour!
