In the know
- Our favourite rooms
- All rooms are well appointed with crisp decor and utility-chic bathrooms; nine feature glass panels that flick from frosted to clear at the flick of a switch. Superior rooms have Juliet balconies (we like room 103) or French windows that open onto little decks. Deluxe rooms are larger – 205 has big bay windows. Three rooms have a bath – request one when booking if this is a must for you; the Deluxe room with a bath also has a balcony, making it one of our favourites.
- Packing tips
- Extra bags for bringing home shopping bounty; natty wellies for countryside walks; theatre guide for culture buffs; laptop and DVDs for watching films in bed; swimwear for spa-going.
