In the know

Our favourite rooms
Villas 1, 4, 27 and 28 are homely three-bedroom affairs that provide a spacious and private retreat for canoodling honeymooners – Karma staff simply close off the extra rooms, leaving you with oodles of living space. All villas have spacious pool terraces and ocean-view private balconies attached to the master bedroom.
Packing tips
Save space in your suitcase and leave the inessential outfits at home – each villa has a washing machine and a dryer so you needn’t worry about wardrobe shortages.
Also
Learn the secrets of spicing and seasoning with a Thai street cooking class led by one of Padma’s master chefs.

Tropical terraced villas

Palm-fronded island cove

Balmy, palmy Koh Samui has become a bigger dot on the Thailand tourist’s radar over the last few years but, thankfully, there are still some places where you can enjoy the island’s indisputable beauty in luxurious, restful peace and privacy. Near the bright lights and late nights of Chaweng Beach, this boutique hotel’s 36 beach-white villas certainly tick the luxury box, with each one offering goose-pimpling sea views, tiger-swinging spaciousness and your own pool to relax in.
