Believe everything, Anantara's exceptional staff will treat you like royalty. The Full Moon restaurant is excellent for a romantic meal overlooking the bay of Bophut. At the edge of Fisherman's Village near Anantara, get a heel scrub and pedicure at Happy Thai, it looks nothing but your feet will feel like a newborn's when you leave... show them off in seriously sexy shoes from The Red House (shoe shop at front bar and B&B at back). Siddhartha sells hand-made clothes and jewellery for flash-packers. Excellent Thai and seafood at Starfish & Coffee, upstairs is like Thai-Barbie's house on acid. Take a trip to Chaweng to Sitca's Thai Cooking School established 14 years ago. Your host will be informative and mad as a box of tree-frogs! Bring a friend and eat what you've prepared afterwards. Thai'd out? Go hungry to The Shack, but be prepared to do some shopping or sip a drink at the bar till they find you a table, it is justifiably packed every night, simple but seriously good steaks, seafood and smokin' blues soundtrack.
