Mollies restaurant offers a children's menu and kids are welcome there any time. High chairs are available, and the hotel can provide packed lunches or heated up baby food or milk on request. The sophisticated setting of Mollie's dining room, with its multi-course tasting menu and lavish tableware, may not suit fidgety kids, though, so you may prefer to get a babysitter to enable you to make the most of the romantic adult dining scene here.

Available with a local nanny, for NZ$35 an hour, with two to three hours' notice.
