In the know
- Our favourite rooms
- For a view of Colima’s smoke-haloed volcano, you can’t beat the El Quetzal Junior Suite, which has a lovely little terrace from which to admire the panorama, as well as a luxurious living room. Alternatively, La Chalupita is a highly desirable, bright, corner room with huge windows overlooking the lawn and French doors opening on to the patio. El Sol is the largest of the hotel’s suites (ideal for combining with El Quetzal for a honeymoon to remember), and boasts huge fireplaces in the bedroom and living area, as well as sumptuous sofas, beautiful paintings on the walls and a relaxing private terrace.
- Packing tips
- Leave your mobile at home – it won’t work here anyway. Do bring outdoorsy gear though, whether horse riding, hiking or mountain biking is your bag, you can do it at San Antonio.
- Also
- If you fancy cocooning yourself away for an evening in front of a film or a sports event, the Mirador sitting room on the rooftop terrace has a gigantic widescreen TV, a working fireplace and comfortable seating.
Current offers
- Smith card offer
- A bottle of tequila or mangrappa, a picnic trip to Epazote lake, chauffeur airport transfers, a visit to the coffee and cheese factory, and a biking tour of the area
