Planes, trains, automobiles, or maybe even helicopter – we tell you the best way to go.
- Planes
- Marco Polo and Treviso airports serve Venice. From Marco Polo, take a speedboat to travel into the centre in style (€85). From Treviso, it’s a 25-min taxi journey (€70); or hop on a ATVO Eurobus (about €4,30); it takes 80 mins.
- Trains
- The station is on the Grand Canal, so jump on a watertaxi or the Grand Canal waterbus.
- Automobiles
- Avoid taking a car; you have to park on the mainland and get a train or watertaxi.
