If you are lucky enough to be staying at Villa Fontelunga,you must reserve a table at La Stechetto (about 10 mins' drive from the villa). This restaurant has bags of character and is only open four days a week. The restaurant is decorated with trinkets galore and you will be in awe of the fabulous decor.
Giancarlo and his family give you an amazing welcome (apparently he loves London and the queen), so you are immediately made at home, and the food will not disappoint – the best crostini in all of Tuscany!
