This boutique Tuscan villa near Siena and Florence is located among tranquil rolling hills and peaceful olive groves. Vintage Italiana is flawlessly blended with modern Stark and Jacobsen flourishes to provide the perfect mix of style and comfort. The hotel prepares rich, traditional cuisine, served in the beautiful gardens in the summer.

Rooms: Eight rooms, and a junior suite in a separate building. Three self-catering villas in the area can be booked through the hotel.
Rates: €154–€370, including breakfast.
Check-out: 11h.
Facilities: CD players. Each room has double-aspect views. There is a tennis court, and guests can use the villa’s mountain bikes for excursions.
Poolside: Outdoor pool amid the olive groves.
Hotel closed: 3 November–21 March.
Also: A minimum stay of two nights is usually required.

Food & drink

Hotel restaurant: Lunches of home-made Italian dishes can be provided daily for guests. A four-course dinner party is held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. Light snack meals are available at other times. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Dress code: Villa vogue.
Top table: Outside in the gardens.
Room service: Not available.
Hotel bar: There is a 24-hour honesty bar.
