- Adventurous under-12s or layabout teens.
- Recommended rooms
- The two-bedroom Amankila Suite is ideal for Smiths with kids in tow and comes with butler service. The four pool suites are also good options.
- Activities
- The resort has a range of children’s books and traditional Balinese games to occupy children and bikes are available on request. For around $20 an hour, a guide can take your child on a private island cycle tour. A number of watersports including boogle boarding, sailing and windsurfing are available from the Beach Club.
- Swimming pool
- A lifeguard monitors the main pool from 6am to 6pm.
- Meals
- There are high chairs and a children’s menu on offer in the restaurant and kitchen staff can heat milk, make packed lunches and whip up homemade baby food too.
- Baby sitting
- The first four hours are free; thereafter babysitting costs around $10 an hour.
- No need to pack
- Colouring books – the shop sells drawing books based on traditional Balinese children’s stories.
