- Les Gypseries, one of the two junior suites, is the hotel’s largest, and has a mammoth-tubbed bathroom, floor-to-ceiling windows and a walk-in wardrobe. The hand-carved bucolic scene above the doorway is especially eye-catching, and the faux fur bedspread is wonderfully snuggle-soft. The two suites, Les Papillons and Les Pavôts, on the ground floor are ideal for long stays or family visits, as they share a full kitchen. Look out for the striking Cole & Son wallpaper (in particular the flamingoes in double superior Les Flamands Roses), themed on each room’s name.

- An iPod and travel speakers or other portable music system – there’s no CD player in the room, so create your own aural atmosphere.
