In the know
- Our favourite rooms
- None of the hotel’s rooms have exactly the same layout. We love the high-ceilinged Room 413, a Premier Suite, which comes with a separate living area, a funky egg chair and a freestanding Philippe Starck tub in the bathroom. Its private balcony offers wonderful vistas of Port Phillip Bay and the Melbourne city skyline. We also like Room 315, a Superior, for its sheer size and great views.
- Packing tips
- Bring some trainers or rollerblades so that you can make the most of the St Kilda promenade. Ear plugs might come in handy on a Sunday night – it's the bar's most popular.
- Also
- All rooms are non-smoking; pets are not allowed in the hotel.
Current offers
- Smith card offer
- A bottle of sparkling wine and free car parking

- Cool art deco hideaway

- Boho bayside
The Prince, in the edgy and bohemian St Kilda district of Melbourne, simply oozes cool from the moment that your cab pulls up outside its art deco façade. Its simply decorated communal spaces are moody and sophisticated, the rooms are stylish and comfortable and the Aurora Day Spa offers one of Victoria’s most luxurious and relaxing experiences. And we haven’t even mentioned the award-winning in-house restaurant yet…
