Ian D’Agata

All-round grape guy

An award-winning wine writer and restaurant and hotel reviewer in the Italian press, D’Agata celebrates the grapes of Italy and Bordeaux in Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar as well as for Decanter and Wine Press. A lecturer on Italian Food and Wine Cultural History in the Food Sciences Master’s programme at NYU, he authored The Ecco Guide to the Best Wines of Italy, which is published by Harper Collins.
