Katie Derham has sported a neutral expression for the last 12 years as a newsreader and correspondent for ITV News. She’s now breaking out from behind the desk to become the face of the BBC Proms and brush up on her culture, hunting out top travel tips on Radio 4's Traveller’s Tree and taking part in BBC2's Maestro. When that gets a little tiring, she retreats to hip hotels to relax with her family.
