Ian Douglas-Jones

Adventurous architect

An architectural designer, Ian has worked for acclaimed studios in Swansea, London and Auckland, with a consistent belief that consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative. Versatility and diversity are his trademarks, with work ranging from super-tall towers in China to ice hotel suites in Sweden, and bespoke furniture and installations for the London and Melbourne design festivals. Currently settled in and smitten with Shanghai, Ian is quickly developing the New China penchant for all things luxe. When not flexing his architectural muscles, he enjoys trekking, climbing, biking and surfing.
