Co-reviewers Andrew Upton and Cate Blanchett have been artistic directors of Sydney Theatre Company since 2008, together credited with re-connecting the STC with Australian audiences while positioning it firmly on the international stage. Some recent highlights of their tenure include a hugely successful production of Uncle Vanya, an award-winning staging of A Streetcar Named Desire, and giving the company's historic, heritage-listed home a green-technology makeover. The pair live in Sydney with their three sons.
