She spent 10 years checking into the world's most luxurious hotel suites as travel editor of Brides and Red, as well as travelling the world for Elle, The Guardian, Business Life and GQ. Amanda was a help with our Smith & Kids section and an expert at rattling off features on essential family-travel accessories and essential family-travel tips. Her three sons are keen travellers and helpful contributors to her blog, familyholidayexpert.com.
