A former investigative reporter at The Sunday Times, Tom Robbins swapped hard news for holidays, becoming travel editor of The Observer and then The Financial Times. Although the day job demands spending time in many of the world’s most lavish hotels and restaurants, his real love is heading to remote corners of the world to indulge his passion for skiing. He’s also the author of White Weekends (Bantam Press), a guide to the best short ski breaks.
