Getting there
15 Glasgow is on the edge of leafy Kelvingrove Park, close to both the West End and the centre of Scotland’s second city.
- Planes Glasgow Airport is a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Flights land from around Europe, including Birmingham, Exeter and London in the UK, as well as further afield (the US and Canada).
- Trains Charing Cross is a five-minute walk from 15. Glasgow Central and Queen Street are both within a 10-minute drive. There’s a circular metro system looping around the River Clyde: the closest stops are St Georges Cross and Cowcaddens. From the airport, take a taxi, the 66 bus or the 300 down the road to Paisley Gilmour Street, served by trains that handily call at Glasgow Central eight times an hour (five on Sundays).
- Automobiles The hotel is just off Sauchiehall Street (turn off at Elderslie Street) and not far from the M8, which is the main road to Edinburgh. From the south, the M74 and M77 may be useful. There’s free parking at the hotel.
